Legal

Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Justiceasy platform.

1

Introduction — Platform Status and Regulatory Positioning

Justiceasy Inc. is not a law firm, paralegal firm, legal clinic, or provider of legal services, and is not authorized by the Law Society of Ontario to provide legal services or legal advice.

Justiceasy Inc. operates as an independent legal access and technology platform that facilitates introductions and connections between members and independent, licensed lawyers and/or paralegals in Ontario. This model is intended to improve access to justice by assisting users in locating qualified legal professionals for driving-related, licensing, regulatory, and provincial offence matters.

Justiceasy Inc. does not itself provide legal services, legal opinions, advocacy, or representation of any kind.

2

No Legal Advice; Informational Purpose Only

All content, communications, intake materials, and information provided through the Platform are for general informational and administrative purposes only.

Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal advice, legal opinion, or legal representation, and must not be relied upon as a substitute for independent legal advice from a qualified legal professional licensed in Ontario or any other applicable jurisdiction.

3

No Solicitor-Client or Paralegal-Client Relationship

Use of the Platform, including membership registration, inquiries, intake submissions, or communications with Justiceasy Inc., does not create a solicitor-client relationship or paralegal-client relationship between you and Justiceasy Inc.

Any solicitor-client or paralegal-client relationship is formed exclusively between you and the independent legal professional assigned to your matter, and is governed solely by that professional's retainer agreement, professional obligations, and applicable law.

4

Independent Legal Professionals

All lawyers and paralegals made available through the Platform operate as independent third-party legal professionals.

Justiceasy Inc. does not employ, control, supervise, direct, or guarantee the conduct, advice, availability, or services of any legal professional. Legal professionals are solely responsible for their own professional judgment, services, and compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct of the Law Society of Ontario.

Nothing in the Platform should be interpreted as endorsement of any particular legal professional beyond facilitating access based on user-requested criteria.

5

Platform Role Is Limited to Facilitation

Justiceasy Inc.'s role is strictly limited to:

  • Providing a digital intake and matching system;
  • Facilitating introductions to independent legal professionals; and
  • Providing membership-based access to informational tools, administrative support resources and limited scope representation.

Justiceasy Inc. does not provide legal work, does not prepare legal documents on behalf of users, and does not appear in court or before tribunals.

6

No Guarantee of Legal Services or Outcome

Justiceasy Inc. does not guarantee:

  • That any legal professional will accept a matter;
  • That any legal service will be available or suitable;
  • Any legal outcome, result, dismissal, reduction, or success in any matter; or
  • Any timeline for resolution of legal issues.

All legal outcomes depend entirely on the facts of each case and the independent legal professional retained by the member.

7

Fees, Membership, and Legal Service Separation

Membership fees paid to Justiceasy Inc. are solely for access to the Platform, referral functionality, intake systems, and related administrative services.

Fees paid to independent legal professionals are separate and are governed exclusively by agreements between the member and the legal professional.

Justiceasy Inc. does not collect legal fees on behalf of legal professionals, does not act as a billing intermediary for legal services, and does not share in legal fees unless expressly permitted and structured in compliance with applicable law and regulatory guidance.

8

Compliance with Marketing and Referral Standards

Justiceasy Inc. is designed to align with Ontario regulatory expectations that require:

  • Communications that are accurate, transparent, and not misleading;
  • Clear disclosure of the independent status of legal professionals;
  • Clear separation between legal services and referral/technology services; and
  • Public-facing marketing that does not imply unauthorized practice of law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Justiceasy Inc. is not liable for any loss, damage, claim, or expense arising from:

  • Use of or reliance on the Platform;
  • Acts, omissions, advice, or services of any independent legal professional;
  • Delays, interruptions, or unavailability of services; or
  • Any legal outcome resulting from a matter handled by a third-party professional.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

11
